Clubs & Activities

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, clubs offer opportunities for students to:

  • learn the values of teamwork
  • individual and group responsibility
  • physical strength and endurance
  • competition
  • diversity
  • develop a sense of culture and community

Extracurricular activities provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context, and are thus considered part of a well-rounded education.

At Oakdale, we do our best to offer students club choices that encompass all of these qualities and opportunities.  Some of our clubs include Drama Club, FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), Patriot Gamers, Club Momentum, and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America).  For a complete list of clubs, contact the school office.
